Empties October 2013

Hello November aka birth month! As I prepare myself to embrace my soon to be 26years of existence I am balancing work, baby and home. Including to home duties are my bids of adieu to my October empties to make way for new and exciting products to try such as Yves Roches, Clinique, Kiehls and many more! Now, who made it to my October 2013 list?

Human Heart Nature Sunflower Beauty Oil - all about the oh-so-good sunflower, click here.
Hype Body Spray in Vamp - Nostalgic, this body spray reminds me of my college days. Walking on Harisson Road late at night because our chemistry class ends at 9pm. Running up and down the streets of Hillside early morning while avoiding dogs on the loose, catching my breath and wishful thinking for a waiting jeep so I wouldn't have to wait an extra 15minutes or so, or else it would mean being late on my Surveying class, which means I either have to look for my group on Burnham Park or enter the back door and sneak my way to a vacant seat without noticing which is better than to completely diss my class and hope, that no pop quiz or the field experiment is not yet through or else I'm dead. This reminds me of picnic square's stone table with chessboards and rough seats, Athletic Bowls dirt paths, of my walks with friends on the busy and noisy session road while licking selecta ice cream while discussing our frustrations either on our demanding instructors and the formulas we have to sing and dance to the finale. This scent reminds me of governor pack road and its street food which means merienda for some and lunch for other students, of Maharlika's single escalator (which is the oldest escalator in Baguio, btw), of Abanao Square, SM Baguio's Shakeys nights and most of all, this reminds me of monthsarry dates with my boyfriend-then husband-and-father-of-my-child-now.
Physiogel Intensive Cream - read about my self-made-and-impose challenge and result here.
Splash Control Hair Polish Hairdressing Cream - not that bad, I just wish it smelled a little better - I mean smelled good.
SpectraBan - wicked SPF60 here.
Sweet Honesty Body Talc Powder - feminine, mild, classic.
Body Recipe Skin Lightening Hand and Body Lotion in Papaya - thanks to the peachy pink sisters for letting me try this yummy lotion, here.
Etude House Oh M'Eye Lash in curling and clean - all about this Korean mascara here.

That's it. See you on my November empties. I am happy to say I'm half way through some of my old stocks here in my vanity. Empties posts is a breather, I tell you, especially if you don't have that much of space to put things you love to hoard! ;)

Physiogel Cleanser

Hello Physiogirls, err... Physiogel girls!
So, I decided to make this
month week a Physiogel special!
Moving on, this is what a full size Physiogel Cleanser look like...

Phsyiogel Cleanser - Php325.00
image

Packed in a simple box, plain print design and minimal color - this product means business and it is more than you think it is. :) It comes with a separate pump - so even if its huge, it won't spill in the luggage if you decided to go (carry) for it. :) The body shape is perfect for hand grasp too.

image
It does the job - simply, easily and chemical-free.
It's hypoallergenic - (if you haven't noticed yet) all Physiogel products are actually hypoallergenic, the same reason why its safe for baby's sensitive skin. :)
image
I carry this on JC's baby bag, so when he cooks down there and water is nowhere in sight - Hello Physiogel Cleanser!

Soap-free
Non-comedogenic
Balanced pH

Just what sensitive skin and baby needs in a cleanser that cleanses well without drying the skin or greasy oil film feel (does that makes sense?). It leaves baby a moisturized and clean bum and consecutive uses proved that it doesn't cause rashes as well.
image
Use as a
- Regular facial wash
-Makeup remover
-Baby wash on the go on his face
-and genitals after diaper change and poop
This is somewhat a refreshing product to use, simply because its chemical-free.
We (baby and I) are so gonna keep this on our separate stash (makeup kit and baby bag)! This is a multipurpose cleanser without the harmful agents.

Stay tuned for Physiogel Lotion! :)

Physiogel Intensive Cream

Hi everyone! I will introduce Physiogel Intensive Cream with my blog partner  in this post, Gift Factory's Sponge Bob Squarepants in his cowboy attire!
After washing the plates or doing the laundry, my skin feels very rough - and if you are like me, then this my friend is the thing you need. Easily absorbed by skin, making it smoother and moisturized as well.

If your skin is snake-skin-like dry, this will be your bff, holy grail everyday cream until it repairs your skin and turn it to normal that will take 7 days more or else depending on how often and how religious you use it.
But if you are an oil factory, then you might want to keep your face a distance with this just to avoid that tiny little zit breaking out plus a chance to land a humongous volcano of acne somewhere on your t-zone area and just focus on the other "drier" parts of your body like your knuckles, elbows, outer ankle bones, heels and the "four tires of the feet"(don't know? Google it!).

Did I mention I'm oily? OK, I'm oily, normal and dry all at the same time! My upper forehead is usually snake-like dry (ugly truth), t-zone is t-zone you know the drill (OK, if you don't, its oily), lids are oily too (hello eye primers!) and the rest was a thumbs up (normal!) so once a week a dot size on my forehead is a good go after shower! ;)

Physiogel Intensive Cream - Php574.50

The packaging is simple and the orifice is just enough to squeeze a pea size without wasting any and is hygienic to use as well.

Good to know about Physiogel Intensive Cream is that it is-
*Hypoallergenic and emollient
*Has Derma Membrane Structure (DMS)- a high Lipid Moisturizing Cream providing natural lipids
*Non-comedogenic
*No colourants, perfume and preservatives
*No pungent smell, unscented
*Soothes very dry, irritated skin
*Safe for babies' sensitive skin
*Affordable for Php 574.50/50ml

Two powerful words: Potent and hydrating.

It doesn't go a around the bush, its straight to the point, to its job - to moisturize. Its plain, safe and effective.

Physiogel Cream

I'm not used on slapping sticky lotion and viscous sunscreen, what more of moisturizers and creams? The result? Obviously, dry, irritated and snake-like skin - not a pretty sight nor a good feel to touch. Growing up makes you self-conscious... cutting my introduction short (lol) I embrace everything skincare related and I'm now open about new or not familiar skin friendly product just like Physiogel. First bump to it on a mom-baby event, so yeah that means its good for sensitive skin like baby's bum!
What I do depends on where I am going to stay. I freelance so no morning routine and night ritual - it really depends on what, when, and where. When it comes to Physiogel Cream, I put a thin-film of this on my face by gently tapping my skin yoga-face-style and the rest of it will land on my knuckles, elbows, knees and ankles.
I have a lot of these samples from various events and I'm planning to buy a full size after consuming everything on my stash!

Physiogel Cream is available for Php549.50

This cream is made for red, dehydrated and sensitive skin. No colorants, fragrances and preservatives, just natural lipids and DMS that repairs skin while moisturizing and hydrating it! It even promises to repair and moisturize skin up to 3 days! Really a must try! ;)
If you are into makeup like me, you could you this as a moisturizer and face primer in one as it gives a smooth canvass especially if you are going to stay on an air-conditioned room or in a cool weather, so I keep a sachet on my travel kit (inside a ziplock to avoid spillage). This is also safe for baby's sensitive skin. I use this for my baby's knees and elbows just after taking a bath!
Take a chance with Physiogel Cream, especially if you are stress, a smoker, loves soaps! Have a happy skin everyone!

We got an invite from Ms. Hazel and Ms. Rissa of the BDJ Team for the exclusive BDJ Rendezvous: From Fears to Fierce Event held at  2nd floor Veranda, Eastwood Mall last August 17, hosted by Ms. Tricia Abad.
The talks are very informative and fun. We learned a lot from a being wardrobe experimental with confidence with Ms. Alex of The Stylista.com I love her blue glitery cap and her contagious smile. Mind you, she is approachable and humble in person.

First BDJ BOX Beauty Social

Welcome back from a looong extended vacation! I was supposed to post this before the holiday, but what the heck - accident do happen - long story short, we're back and I'll try to burn the keyboard and publish several posts right before I start designing again. *crossing fingers. :)

As a breastfeeding mom, I hesitated to join this event, thinking I can’t handle babe while strolling around, he might cry - or worse poop (now could i handle that, ey?) and people enjoying the event might get irritated. But a day before the deadline, the girly girl in me gave in! :P With a little help and push from my girly girl family as well, they promised to help carry babe around and my hubby has a project site inspection -  in Tondo, Manila – and volunteered to drop us at Mall of Asia on his way. So, through that arrangement, I pre-register all of us! :P

This is the first BDJ Box Social Event and I am excited on what is in store, for sure it will be a fun-filled event just like the past belle de jour events I've attended like -
If you wanna see more about my Belle de Jour events and reviews click here.

We arrived before 1pm, fortunately its babe's siesta time after nursing. We put him in his stroller and secure him first before entering the atrium - just in time for our reserved talk with the Beauty Ministry! :P

I am so thankful that the event was held inside the mall given that my babe is sleeping, I won't worry about him sweating his back. :)
