ELIZABETH: FOTD Simple Glamour

First, I applied my Sunblock which is Ocean Potion, an anti-aging skin fortified with Vitamin D with SPF 30. I applied my moisturizer which is 100% Natural Day Moisturizer from Human Heart Nature with 15 vitamins and minerals then my Primer from Revlon, and after that I applied my Whipped Creme Foundation from Max Factor. I also apply concealer from Revlon under my eye to cover my eyebags and set my foundation using Ellena Mineral Powder.

For my eyebrows, I used my IN2IT eyebrow palette which has 3 shades (light brown, brown and black). The liquid eyeliner and lash curler I used are from Aido and my false lashes are from Everbilena named Eunice.

For my lipstick, I used Apple brand in Twinkle shade underneath my Simply Pretty balm from Avon. ;)

live, love, laugh,
Beth :)

Quick FX No-Shine Mattifier

image
Quick FX No-Shine Mattifier absorbs oil hence reduce shine, leaving skin matted while concealing fine lines and pores, making skin instantly radiant. This travel-friendly pouch can also be used as an on-the-go light weight moisturizer. Versatile to use, another reason its travel friendly is because it can replace your moisturizer, primer and as a makeup finish!
Active ingredients includes salicylic acid,  chamomile, tea tree extract and matte wax.
For less than a hundred pesos, this is the cheapest primer I had ever tried so far.
And guess what? It really is true to its claim of matte finish! :)

Physiogel Cream

I'm not used on slapping sticky lotion and viscous sunscreen, what more of moisturizers and creams? The result? Obviously, dry, irritated and snake-like skin - not a pretty sight nor a good feel to touch. Growing up makes you self-conscious... cutting my introduction short (lol) I embrace everything skincare related and I'm now open about new or not familiar skin friendly product just like Physiogel. First bump to it on a mom-baby event, so yeah that means its good for sensitive skin like baby's bum!
What I do depends on where I am going to stay. I freelance so no morning routine and night ritual - it really depends on what, when, and where. When it comes to Physiogel Cream, I put a thin-film of this on my face by gently tapping my skin yoga-face-style and the rest of it will land on my knuckles, elbows, knees and ankles.
I have a lot of these samples from various events and I'm planning to buy a full size after consuming everything on my stash!

Physiogel Cream is available for Php549.50

This cream is made for red, dehydrated and sensitive skin. No colorants, fragrances and preservatives, just natural lipids and DMS that repairs skin while moisturizing and hydrating it! It even promises to repair and moisturize skin up to 3 days! Really a must try! ;)
If you are into makeup like me, you could you this as a moisturizer and face primer in one as it gives a smooth canvass especially if you are going to stay on an air-conditioned room or in a cool weather, so I keep a sachet on my travel kit (inside a ziplock to avoid spillage). This is also safe for baby's sensitive skin. I use this for my baby's knees and elbows just after taking a bath!
Take a chance with Physiogel Cream, especially if you are stress, a smoker, loves soaps! Have a happy skin everyone!

SMASHBOX Photo Finish and Foundation Primer

In interior designing, it is best to apply a primer first before painting a wall, to smoothen out the surface of the wall and to make the paint stick longer.

The same goes to foundation primers, it is like a moisturizer that helps make the face smooth like a clean canvass and a barrier between face and foundation that helps ease the foundation application. Here's my two cents on my try on two of Smashbox' foundation primer.

  • SMASHBOX Photo Finish Foundation Primer UVA/UVB SPF15 with Dermaxyl Complex

It’s a vitamin packed primer with added sun protection plus, it has anti-ageing skin treatment that promises to reduce appearance of wrinkles and lines over time.

The first thing I notice about this primer is its creamy orangey almost transparent color. Its viscous enough but not heavy on skin. It glides and it doesn't dry fast so no hassle! :) No residue or greasy feeling, just soft smooth skin!

  • ·        SMASHBOX Photo Finish Light Foundation Primer

This primer is perfectly made for oily, acne-prone and sensitive skin! Its 60% water based, oil absorbent and light diffusing, hence it provides a smooth matte finish all day, minimizes skin imperfections! It also has Vitamin C and peptides that even out skin tone and promote collagen production over time.

These primers are easy to apply! All you have to do is pump or squeeze a pea size on fingertips and smooth an even layer directly on clean or moisturize skin! :)

What's your recent/favorite primer? ;P
