#ChooseToShine With Pantene!

First off, thank you so much Belle de Jour Power Planner and Pantene for these amazing products I received last year! :)
I've been using this for quite a while now, and I'm actually on my 3rd bottle of Pantene Conditioner and both of these will actually be included on my February empties! Yes, that only means I use it e-ve-ry-day!
This is my after (colored and rebonded)  treatment hair. Aside from my previous treatments, my hair is exposed to chemicals like hair spray and heat although I'm not using hair straightener, I'm always exposed to the sun especially when we're doing our rounds of site inspections. Normally, my hair is straight, naturally thin, easy to break, brittle and always ready to mingle with each other aka tangle and I'm aware that my hair is damage now. I want it to rest, give my hair a break and pamper it! Rejuvinate its lost glory and I'm happy to tell that for a months now, I've been doing it with Pantene!

I'm actually afraid of using conditioner because most of the time it leaves my hair oily, and with my thin hair I felt looking like I have flat oily hair sticking on my face. Little did I know that all I need to do - the little secret - to successfully pulling off soft moisturized straight hair is by using Pantene conditioner starting on the tips of my hair upward, concentrating the formula on the tips as it is the most dry part!
image
I love that the orifice looks like a cake decorator nozzle - conditioning hair has never been so fun! lol
Afterwards, while still wet, I apply ten full pumps of miracle water on my palm, hand combing my hair from tips to the root!

Comb and/or blow-dry hair as usual

and apply another pump or two to smoothen out my hair for that total shiny, good-looking, yummy-smelling hair!
:) Like I said, Pantene Miracle Water and Pantene Conditioner both were included for my upcoming February empties and so I would like to share to you some of my photos using these Pantene duo!
Say hello to my shiny straight hair!
12pm, still looking fresh with my gorgeous hair thanks to my little travel buddy - Pantene Miracle Water!
Hair spray for my curly ends + Pantene Miracle Water on the top = Gorgeous hair!

Happy as can be! I choose to shine with Pantene! #ChooseToShine!

Empties January 2014

Hello February! :) Oh my... how time flies. It passes like a breeze and with a blink of an eye we are now at the end of January. End means goodbye forever when it comes to these products – let’s see who will make it to my mommy-baby things to buy list!
image
Taya Beauty Amazon White Clay Thickening Shampoo – this is so good to my thin hair unfortunately this will not make it to my next things to buy because I just happen to win this on one of the many Fabzilla.com international giveaways! BTW, check out her blog if you are into beauty in a huge-zilla way!
Cycles Sensitive Baby Head-to-Toe Wash – so gentle yet so effective on making my baby feeling fresh and clean without compromising his soft sensitive skin! ;)
Pantene Pro-V Conditioner – first off, thank you so much Belle de jour power planner for giving this for free. It did conditioned my better than my regular conditioner - it's 80% more anyway - totally repair my damaged hair. My hair is now softer and tangle-free! And... I love the nozzle! lol
image
Nivea Extra White Repair - is a pore minimiser foam that whitens and cleans face while removing 10 makeup residues including oil, powder, foundation, blush, eyeshadow, silicon, eyeliner, coloring, moisturizer residue and sunscreen residue for a squeeky clean face! Smells good and refreshing too!
Sebamed Liquid Face & Body Wash - I'm actually torned between getting a full size of this face and body wash or the bath bubbles! :P Shiny green liquid smells good and keeps baby clean and fresh. I use a pea-size for his hair and a coin size for his body. :) Lathers quickly too!
Ph Care - I tried the sample pack wherein you get to try all the scents in small bottles, and so far I'm enjoying the green one. This one is a little subtle more my liking, but never the less, feels clean and comfortable down there. Shh! :P
Goodbye January! Hello February!

L'Oreal Paris Miracle Hair Oil Treatment

Versatile Use
Extraordinary Moisture
Sumptuous Softness
Luxurious Shine
Light, Non-Greasy Finish
image
Loreal Paris Extraordinary Oil Miracle Hair Oil Treatment is a mouthful of words and a mouthful of uses. Certainly, this hair treatment is really one extraordinary oil as it has 6 Flower Extract Oil including Lotus, Tiare, Rose, Flax, Chamomile and Sunflower.
It is a very versatile product indeed as it has multiple uses such as
*Spa Treatment - restore, nourish and prep hair. Apply generous amount of oil in dry hair just before taking shower. Shampoo and conditioner follows.
*To Detangle Hair - After shower, towel dry hair and apply oil before blow drying to reduce tangle, protect hair from heat and speed drying time.
*Heat Protectant Before Styling- On dry hair, apply oil to protect hair from heat. This will also add luster to dull hair making it look shinier.
*Leave-In Mist - No need to buy a separate leave in mist as this oil could also be use as a light weight finish. Helps refresh hair with a subtle fragrance
I have sparse thin fine hair and this is perfect for the cool ber months. Perfect paired with Loreal Parish Shampoo and Conditioner.image
The packaging is quite sophisticated looking but not that good. I mean I love that it has a pump for a head because you could control the amount of product you'll squeeze, less possibility of spillage and its very hygienic, but, the body makes me cringe every time I use it though because its made of glass. Its made of glass and it has oil in it. So I use my double-grip-extra-hold strength as my slippery hands might drop this precious miracle of a glass bottle. I wish they'll have it on an aluminum or plastic container instead, it would be safer for clumsy bad-hair-day girls, travel-friendly and it'll cut the weight, cut the cost and hence cut the prices too, making it more affordable. Other than that, all of about this oil is oh-so-good!
I would share this to my elbows, knees, knuckles and ankles too. ;) That is how versatile this oil is for me.
Thank you so much BDJ Box and Loreal Paris for including this full size to the November Elite Holiday Glam Extraordinaire - it really fits this miracle oil!

Taya Beauty Thickening Shampoo and Conditioner

The first thing I've tried from this loot
image
was these combo of
image
Taya Beauty Amazon White Clay Thickening Clay Shampoo and Conditioner
The bottles are sealed with a removable aluminum cover for protection. I said this (like it was a big deal) because I'm used to squeezing plastic bottles fresh from the grocery without removing the cap because I know it's just that. So I'd had a hard time squeezing these bottles until I finally decided to take a peek inside by unscrewing the cap - and I laughed at myself sarcastically as I realized how stupid I looked like awhile ago. He he So just to avoid the same mistake, I remove the cap of the other bottles and like these, they have covers too. :P
Moving on... The shampoo on the left side is more viscous than the thick cream conditioner. Like most products, the shampoo have shiny specks and luminosity while the conditioner is just white and creamy.
image
I'm surprised that the smell of the shampoo differs from that of its conditioner. The smell of shampoo was too strong and reminds me of free hotel shampoo (which is good for me, see, I prefer supplies from the hotel where we are staying instead of using the same one I use at home. High five #CommunityChannel!) while the conditioner was surprisingly light - making the two of them a compliment for each other.
So, if you are using Tanya Thickening Shampoo then you must use the thickening conditioner after.

My first wash after, and I am a believer. Now I wish Taya Beauty products are available locally. Instant gorgeous hair! My hair transformed from dull to life. I love my hair now - feels and smells fresh and rejuvenated! The frizz tamed and tangles gone! :D
I'm so thankful I get to try these out. As it is not yet available here in the Philippines. Now, I'm worried on how to get these when my supply's gone. lol
Now, I'm excited to try the leave-in mist! It's shampoo-conditioner-leaveinmist trio combo, so stay tuned! I'll try to post my "hair" if I could, but please stress the word "try" as I'm too shy to flaunt my sexy, sexy hair!
Have you tried any Tanya Beauty products before?
