Food Trip: Shakeys Prima Lasagna

Time to break the habit... err... expand the habit? or probably explore more... Hihi We love our handtossed Shakeys pizza just the way it is - and I guess that hinders us to try anything new. Until lately, when we come across this twist of banana and ice cream delight!

After savoring the hot pizza...

on this plateful of  salad and pasta and everything nice and calorie-fic (is that even a word?)...

We say hello to this...

and then it was all over. The lasagna was flavorful and delicious, the only downside was that we didn't expect it to be a pool of sauce. We slice it and it was kinda fail. The slab of lasagna was intact but the inbetween sauce gooed its way out sloppily because it's not viscous enough. But still, it's gone like half a minute or so because its a deli, I just wish they improve the way they present the food. It was good looking but when you run a knife, it bleeds like there's no tomorrow (sorry, I think its not appropriate to describe my lasagna like that but thats the nearest adjective I could think of.)

how I long to eat out and try different restaurants ... only then I realize that what I shoot makes me extra fat! :( Oh yes, little did I know that a (food) picture is worth a thousand calories! D: Photos revealing seductive meals in delicious details - can obviously make one overeat! Like I said, I tend to long for another dine in restau, to order the other dishes I didn't get the chance to taste, no scratch that, to eat! And since one of the best thing to experience is to taste everything, the only remedy we could do is to share! :) or at least buy the smallest portion, and take it out just so you could still follow the "stop eating while you are hungry" rule. :)

Food Trip: Sbarro Date with the Family

I introduced this pizza parlor too to my mom and sis since I learned about it from cousin, ate Zhai. Everyone in the family have a tooth for pizza and pasta and everything Italian! Yum yum! Who wouldn't?

If you know me then you'll know how I love pizza! :P My first time here is when my couzin Ate Zhai and I had a girly girl date! :P

Afterward we meet up with my mom and dad and guess where we landed?

we ended up having our dinner at Shakeys!

FOOD TRIP: Shakey's Monster Meal!

One of things that makes me happy is our family day. And our family's favorite thing to do is to hang out at our ever favorite Shakey's! The managers knew us already! :P We even managed to memorize the menu! lol

One of our favorite out of the menu is the Shakey's Monster Meal Deal! Mouth watering and delicious!

 This meal deal includes a large pan of Shakey's Special and Pepperoni pizza, a complimentary garlic bread and 3 bottles of coke,

a platter of special spaghetti and flavorful carbonara,

12 pieces of fried chicken and mojos!

Using mom's Shakey's supercard, we add a party size Shakey's Special and Hawaiian Pizza. :P

and a platter of Ceasar Salad
