Twice a Week Skincare Routine

Remember my #IDoItTwiceAWeek entry for Betadine Feminine Wash? In line with that, I will share to you today how I do these things. I do this twice a week but not religiously, especially on occasions when a kid got the fever or a deadline is on due. But since it's a stormy weather outside and everyone is feeling a little cozier. I always take this opportunities to glam myself a bit and make my skin smoother! I mean, you know, it's all gray and cold outside but at least I feel fab!
This is Cure Natural Aqua Gel - Japan's No. 1 Best-Selling Skincare product - 1bottle sold every 12seconds in Japan! This is an exfoliator based not with chemicals, but water. Yes, even the most sensitive skin can use this as it is scentless and is made from the natural plant extracts of rosemary, gingko and aloe vera.
This water based cleanser is perfectly partnered with this.
Please excuse my fabulous undereye bags that reveals my worth-it sleepless nights with my bebes.
My face right after gentle scrubbing. It really delivers on removing dead skin cells and leaving skin soft and supple. After exfoliating, I wash my face with either of this Human Heart Nature, gently again.
And then, I slapped on a mask. Any facial mask will do. This time, I'd use this
Green Tea Fresh Essence Mask from Aritaum - still hot from South Korea. You can look for mask that fits your problem. Lemon for acne-prone, Aloe Vera for moisturizing and in my case Green Tea for detox. There's a huge selection of facial masks out there and it's exciting to try this and that and enjoy the benefits of having healthier skin.
Moustache galore!
No, do not rinse after mask. Just massage your face with your clean fingers to make absorption better. And since I'm frugal, I put cotton on the foil to absorb the juices left in there and wipe on my neck, elbows, knees and knuckles of my fingers and toes. Seriously.
I badly need pampering lately, since this incident is still not solved. Update here.
Next thing I'll do? Cover myself with this
No rains today. Just gusty winds, dark sky and black hole in my pocket.  On the bright side, my skin is happy and my babies are happy. BDJ Fair is postponed and I'll be posting BDJ Veterans Night hopefully today. Stay tuned.

ELIZABETH: Rebond Hair Routine

Hey everyone! I hope 2013 is treating you right so far! As for me, I am busy preparing myself for my big day! One of the things I did is to have my skin fairer using homemade bleach and Ettas bleaching powder, that i'll be blogging soon.. :)

Photo below is me during our stay at Crowne Plaza Hotel on the New Years Eve. As you can see, my hair is rebonded by my future mother-in-law (but thats another story! hehe) And i will share how i maintain my mane using hair products that are my favorites as of the moment.

I can't avoid not washing my hair everyday because of the weather, and so, this is my everyday shampoo..

Pantene Pro-V Hair Fall Control Shampoo

I love the smell of this shampoo, i don't know why but it actually reminds of of watermelon. It obviously reduces hair fall due to breakage that i really need, because i love to comb my hair like a hundred times a day which makes my hair hollow, damage and weak. Aside from that, Pro-V formula promises to strengthens the hair from the inside without dye and paraben.

After rinsing my shampooed hair, i gently squeeze my hair to remove excess water. My usual conditioner was replaced by

Bremod Performance Ion Perm

This keeps my hair looking full with long lasting volume effect. It adds more stability and strengthens the hair structure. This ion perm contains rich protein factor and rare vegetal essence, with unique intelligent softening factor. It activate hair tissue rapidly, supply moisture and nutrition. This ion perm can as well make the curly and dry hair soft, smooth and shiny. See anyone can love this magic bottle, straight, curly and wavy hair! :D

I love the soft after feel of my hair that lasts fairly all day! :D I am still on the look out for hair serums that I could use every now and then, and any recommendations will be gladly accepted.

So, do you love Pantene Pro-V as much as I do?

Have you tried any Bremod products before?

Share your thoughts below and hit the share-love Facebook button and sweet-tweet Twitter button too!

live, love, laugh,
Beth :)

BC Blogger Meme: A Day In My Not So Boring Life

Embrace yourself for a quite long introduction...

Why? I had to, because I thought you need to know how I ended up on my recent daily routine. Please bear with me, hehe Here goes...

My husband and I used to work at home and when I was not yet pregnant, we either used to go out all day to inspect construction sites and have meetings with clients, architects and consultants. Or. We used to wake up, buy our breakfast, sometimes skip it, face our laptops not bothering each other until our seats gets hot or until the tummies growl that it's lunch time. I dont usually cook so we eat outside on our kitchen extension aka Chowking, good thing KFC opened up! :D Go home, work again, eat our dinner out. Or. Stay on our extended office aka Starbucks, Market Market or Coffee Bean, Serendra.  Go home and try to work again until were worn out and sleep at around one in the morning... again and again... and again... We were so workaholics that our lifestyle worn us out too we decided to have a babe. :)

When I was pregnant, I eat and sleep and sometimes when I'm on it, I still design and squeeze blogging. But most of the time, I'm in bed sleeping... dreaming... dozing off...  I just push myself to get up just to eat or pee or meet the doctors; OB-Gyne, Cardiologist, Hematologist.

Now?
The babe is out and we are still in transition.
Keeping a newborn is hard to master! My 'daily routine' is erratic! Like in Algebra, it will never be constant again but an integer, an unknown value of x. How to take care of new-born baby? First week, we were sleepless. Second week, hubby returned to work and I'm still, I mean were still sleep deprived! Third week, I'm getting the hang of it without sleep.

Babe now is 5kgs and more than two feet long...
He just turned two months last 26 and all I do all day is to breastfeed, burp, change diaper while squeezing blog and precious sleep. Yes, now I have new love for sleep!!! Mind you, i need to feed him every two hours for twenty-four hours! Do the math!!!
