Pampers Launches the #BetterForBaby Advocacy to Support Unhindered Movement and Development

Since my baby was born, I've tried different diaper but I observed that Pampers is the driest diaper. At first, I thought Pampers was too expensive for a diaper but when I compute the consumption of my baby on other brand, it's more expensive because I always changed his diaper from time to time. I also had an experience on other brand that my baby was crying and woke up because of wet diaper, not only that, our bed sheet was so wet! So, I always choose Pampers because It's very important for my baby to have a good night sleep and I'm rest assured that Pampers won't give my baby a rashes because it's the driest diaper ever! I'm happy that Pampers can give the comfort we want for our little one!

Pampers and celebrity mom, Sarah Lahbati, hosted over 100 moms to launch their new nationwide advocacy called Pampers #BetterforBaby Movement last May 2, 2019 at Palm Grove, Rockwell Club. The advocacy is a call-to-action for everyone in the Philippines to help give babies a world of unhindered play and movement, so they are free to learn and explore the world. This starts with helping babies to move comfortably by wearing less lawlaw diapers like Pampers.

During the event, Sarah shared why she partnered with Pampers: “I’m so excited to launch the #BetterforBaby campaign with Pampers. I’ve learned that the more our babies play and move, the more it helps them develop their skills. We need to pay close attention to the small yet critical things that can help them move better, such as the right diaper. I chose Pampers for Zion, and even now with Kai.  I know they are able to move better and with greater ease because Pampers is less lawlaw compared to other brands.”

Pampers invited a panel of experts to talk more about the importance of movement for baby’s development, and the many ways families can help.  This means giving babies plenty of time to play, advocating for more galaw-friendly public spaces, and ensuring babies move comfortably in a less lawlaw diaper.

Ms. Bambi Borneo, President of Mother and Child Nursing Association of the Philippines (MCNAP) shares, “2-3 hours of playtime and exercise for babies during the day will not only help them develop physically, but cognitively as well. It’s important for babies to move comfortably without much bulk hindering their movement. So, a good diaper na less lawlaw is very important.”

As part of the launch, Pampers unveiled the PampersLessLawlaw.com microsite where everyone who wants to show support for the advocacy can share the badge, and share stories of how they are making life #BetterForBaby. These all add up to points in the microsite, and for 10,000 points and more, Pampers will be donating newborn kits and galaw-friendly play areas to hospitals across the Philippines. Reaching 30,000 points will enable Pampers to donate to 5 chosen hospitals across the Philippines. Those who join can also get a chance to win up to 3 months’ supply of Pampers.

Everyone at the event was very excited to be a part of the #BetterForBaby Movement and sign up on the site. Ms. Ragene Palma, Urban Planner and one of the panelists of the event, shares, “Thanks to Pampers #BetterforBaby, we can raise awareness of how important movement is for a baby’s overall development. We can create more galaw-friendly spaces in more communities which is crucial in aiding in the development of babies.”

There are many ways that the general public can support this advocacy:
  1. Watch this online video and share it via social media:  https://youtu.be/7urGe3tr1_I
  2. Share the Pampers #BetterForBaby badge here to show support for the movement: www.pamperslesslawlaw.ph
  3. Share a personal story on the site, or how you have used less lawlaw diapers for your baby

While each baby moves and learns at their own pace, it is everyone’s job to make sure we let each baby be free to move as freely as they please.  Through the #BetterforBaby movement and through advocating for less lawlaw diapers, Pampers and Sarah hopes everyone can do their part to make life better for baby.

Goodbye Law Law, Go Galaw with the New Pampers Baby Dry!

I want my baby to feel comfortable, that's why i used pampers for him since birth, the driest diaper I trusted the most! He sleeps well and plays well because it has magic gel channels that absorbs the pee well! But guess what? Pampers Baby Dry now gives us the Gift of Go Galaw Mornings to our baby! New and Upgraded Pampers, it also has Magic Gel Channels, Pampers breakthrough innovation that helps distribute wetness evenly to prevent bulk and sagging. Pampers increased the absorbency of the diaper and removed unnecessary pulp - so these diapers are also drier and thinner! I never thought that it could be that much better!

Hands-on mom cringe at the sight of saggy diapers, but there's really more to the lawlaw than you think. Pampers, the trusted brand committed to your baby's comfort and care, helps with your baby's happy, healthy development by giving you less lawlaw diapers. The much loved magic gel channels found in the Premium Care line will be available in Baby Dry Taped and Pants variants.

Less Lawlaw means more freedom of movement!

Studies have shown that learning to walk without any bulk in the body may be the best for baby's motor development. All that bulk in lawlaw diapers compromises balance as he or she learns to walk.

Moving, playing, and walking are crucial for a baby's growth and development. Unrestrained movement allows babies to discover the world,  and learn like there's no tomorrow!

When babies pee, wetness is often accumulated in a single spot on the diaper. This causes the lawlaw! Moms know that when a diapers sags, it's full and time to change. The diaper is wasted because all the wetness is concentrated in one spot, instead of spread through the whole diaper. The accumulated wetness increases the likelihood of leaks so if a diaper easily sags, moms end up changing the diaper more often and spending more.

With magic gel channels, Pampers will allow moms to get more bang for their buck! Moisture is absorbed faster and more evenly so they change less and save more!

Bye Lawlaw, Hello Go Galaw All the Way With the New Pampers Baby-Dry!

Pampers understands that lawlaw is a major problem for moms and babies alike. This is why Pampers will be introducing a new and improved Pampers Baby-Dry, now with magic gel channels. These new cores absorb wetness faster and distribute it evenly throughout the whole diaper preventing sagging. This not only offers overnight and dryness but makes the diaper thinner and drier, putting an end to lawlaw, and promotes unrestrained movement for your baby.

As these are your child's most crucial years, it's important to make sure they are provided with only the best products - especially qualiw diapers! Choose the new and improved Pampers Baby-Dry for less lawlaw and go galaw mornings! That way, baby is kept dry and comfort for a longer time, less diaper changes in between is needed, and most of all, you can finally focus on quality bonding time with your baby, as he moves and learns to go galaw.
