Live with the King!

Even before I became one, I already felt, by the loving grace of my own mother that this belief is, in all aspects of life's true: Mom is a title higher than a Queen.

With that being said, I think it just follows that a queen should of course LIVE WITH THE KING. Stay-at-home, work-at-home, corporate, mompreneur - no matter what category or state you are in, moms should live with her king!

We aren't living in a fairytale of course, and there is the never-ending debate whether Forever is for real or just a fancy word to lure those who are hopelessly romantic. Whether you're living the Cinderella Movie 2 dream, still waiting for the toad to metamorphose into a prince, whether the ogre left you or you finally leave the beast - for good this time, being a mom is a gift. No questions, no doubt. Like I said, mom is a title higher than a queen, and you could Live with the King - from freshly-pressed nails, fake lashes, colored hair, eyebrows-on-fleek to dream job, dream boobs, to safe home, hot meals, healthy kids... and for this particular blogpost, to live with the King of Android, the

Huawei Nexus 6P!

You don't need Prince Philip to steal a kiss while you're snoring. Grab the peduncle my lass, and storm out of the castle tower. We are advancing in technology, so ditch the pumpkin carriage. Be a damsel, but never be in distress, take the treasure chest and buy the King of Android! Why, we should all break the scourge and live with the best that there is. Being a mom, we owe it to ourselves.

In this techy blog post, I'll be talking about the latest flagship from Huaweithe Nexus 6P! We could live with a King dancing on our palms, literally! Ladies and gents, emperors and paupers, I give you my Top 5 Reasons why the latest Huawei Nexus 6P is the King of Android!

  • I like to capture moments, but I skip the drama that is camera. - Ironic, yes. Impossible, not. Being a mom myself, I know that we are usually obsessed with taking photos of, and with our kids. Mirror selfie. Groufie. Bathroom selfie. Capturing their milestones and just-because-they're-freaking-adorable moments are priceless that millennial kids hadn't so much got the luck to have. Holding a huge camera and a toddler in one go is extremely difficult, not to mention extra tiring for an un-ambidextrous person like myself. So since I don't aim to look like a professional photographer, I ditch the huge camera and since still I want to take pictures, I settle for a camera phone. Like Coraline's stone with a hole, I need a powerful camera phone that could capture more light for SNS worthy photos, and that is Huawei Nexus 6P.

Need to catch a moment at night? Huawei Nexus 6P has a low-light, loving, powerful camera with 12.3MP rear camera (1.55µm) and 8MP front camera  (1.4µm). A plus for those narcissistic mom moments, too.

  • I stand against telephone smartphone. - I mean, cellphone was invented as a cordless device to replace telephone with curly cords and still, we are usually stuck beside a wall because we're charging our phones almost all. the. time. It's like being a Rapunzel with hair tied on a post inside the top of the tower. Not to mention the dangers of using your phone while charging - radiation, faster deterioration of the phone's battery, and the possibility of electrocution. Good thing there's a phone that has a huge 3450 mAh battery with a fast charging ability due to its USB Type C charging port, and that is Huawei Nexus 6P.

  • I master brushing my teeth while taking the shower. - First off, this statement is true. This, of course, at first might look a little off the topic but not quite. You see, I need a King that could cope up with me. I am a dovetailer. I work as a freelance designer, a seasonal online seller. I look forward on blogging during the kids' nap time. I'm a hands-on 24/7 breastfeeding mom with no nannies and no pumps; and yes, I'm a gamer, too (not the type you're thinking though). The COC bug bit me - waiting in queue and the life-force eating traffic is tolerable! Hermione can attend different classes, all on the same time with her Time Turner. I, on the other hand, need a dovetailing phone that performs fast, with reliable connectivity, and that is Huawei Nexus 6P.

Huawei Nexus 6P has the latest version of Qualcomm Snadragon, 2.0 Ghz octa-core 64-bit, Adreno 430 GPU running in Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

  • I whistle whenever I hustle. - Music is not a luxury, it is a necessity. I need music to align the rambling numbers in my head when I'm designing, to produce creative juices when I'm writing, to teach my kids their phonetics effectively, to make washing pots and making casseroles a breeze. Music for me is like wearing the shiny red shoes from Pandora's box. It won't let you stop dancing. Hips swaying left and right in accordance to the rhythm while scrubbing away the stubborn burnt pot because I accidentally knock down the rice cooker, but that's another story.  Honestly, I could have been a siren in an alternate mythical universe, but from where I am now, I need Front-facing speakers which basically mean clear, crisp sounds and that is, Huawei Nexus 6P.

  • I want the world to dance in the palm of my hand. - Google is my BFF. The best of Google from Search, Maps, Play, YouTube, GMail and more are pre-installed so I won't have to waste precious time on downloading each and everyone in my Google circle of apps. It's like having a Doreamon inside my phone - an anthropomorphic robot cat that has a pocket from which things are produced in times of need. Dumbledore would be proud! A phone that offers work and play, with no interruptions? That is Huawei Nexus 6P.

All of my wants in one phone, Huawei Nexus 6P reverberates my inner mantra: "I make myself rich, by making my wants few".
Moms are expert in multitasking and Huawei Nexus 6P is winning when it comes to dovetailing!

The art of mothering is a never-ending process, but with the help of smart technology, you could finally give your house elf his socks because you won't need him to get things around when you are out of witty luck.

For instance, left overs? Type the ingredients and search for the perfect homemade recipe! Do the plating and capture the Instagram-worthy food photo! With Nexus 6P, the possibilities are endless, and the technique is effective!

Family is hard work, and not everything that glitters is gold, that includes literal glitters that the little toddler littered on the floor. I accidentally said it was fairy dust the last time he cried his lungs out -right after I accidentally woke him up from his dreams of flying with Peetar and the lost boys because I accidentally knocked out the rice cooker. Yes, that.

Perseverance is a key in life and you can either walk away or try harder but with Huawei Nexus 6P, the King of Android, Mothering could be an easy gust of wind in the hot afternoon sun, calming. Like Maleficent finally learning that true love's kiss is more than a myth that could yield an unbreakable curse, it is in fact, true to those who we whole-heartedly love.

Even before I became one, I already felt, by the loving grace of my own mother that this belief is, on all aspects of life's true: Mom is a title higher than a Queen.

So moms, if family really comes first, go ahead... Live with the King!

THE END
***

REWIND and PAUSE

Well, you don't really have to be a mom to live with a king. It is just a phrase to encourage you to live with the best, whether you are the half-eaten gingerbread, or the scullery dishwasher, go ahead... Live with the King!

MAY YOU LIVE HAPPILY EVER AFTER. <3

Ilocos is captured in drone and it's breathtaking!

A Philippine region that fuses the beauty of nature and our history together, Ilocos is given a fresh and exciting perspective by awesome videographer Christer Isulat. With his drone and hand-held camera, he went to shoot the key destinations in Vigan, Laoag, and Pagudpud.

Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nrzBHZ4mPfo

The preserved architecture of Calle Crisologo, Bantay Tower, Quirino Bridge, and the dancing lights fountain are some of the spectacles documented for Vigan. The sand dunes in Laoag lets you have an exciting time aboard a monster 4x4 and unlimited sandboarding time. Laoag is also the home of Malacanang of the North as well as Paoay Church. Pagudpud is famous for its windmills, Patapat Viaduct, Dos Hermanos Islands, Saud Beach, Blue Lagoon, Burgos Lighthouse, and Bantay Abot Cave.

These destinations are an easy visit with the three main provinces easily accessible from one another.

This video was in collaboration with Biyaheroes and Partas Transport Company with hopes of encouraging tourists to visit these commute-friendly destinations and to take public transport when visiting. Instead of a very long drive, Biyaheroes lets commuters book and even choose their bus seats online, saving everyone from the hassle and the stress of planning their trips. They are in partnership with Partas that offers direct and roundtrip Manila to Vigan, Laoag, and Pagudpud buses with terminals in Pasay, Sampaloc, and Cubao.

With the blazing heat of the sun and the longing to see provinces that offer everything from history, adventure, and food trips, why not escape and book your Ilocos bus tickets now? Laoag na magdalawang isip pa! :)

Summerventures 101: What You Need to Know about Sunscreen

Sunscreen is arguably the number one skincare product associated with summer. As the sun shines brighter, temperature goes higher, and the days become longer, it's best to be prepared and protect your skin the best way you can.
Not many people, however, know what is written on the sunscreen label. To make the most of your time under the sun, here are a few things to know about your favorite sunscreen lotion.

The UVB Rays
Most people think that the Sun Protection Factor is everything there is to check in a sunblock-- and it does count a lot. The SPF measures the product's ability to block UVB rays, which are related to sunburn and skin cancer.
SPF, however, only measures UVB rays. It does not have much effectiveness when it comes to UVA rays.

The UVA Rays
UVA is often the most misunderstood part of sunscreen formulations. This is present every day, and can penetrate through glass windows. Much like UVB, it is also linked to higher risk of skin cancer. Unlike UVB, however, UVA does not get filtered by the ozone.
UVA doesn't cause sunburn, but it can lead to skin darkening and aging, as the rays penetrate deeper into hte skin, affecting the collagen.
Dermplus sunscreens, for example, protect against both UVA and UVB rays, giving you complete sun protection in one go.

The SPF
The SPF number measures how well a sunscreen protects against UVB rays. If your skin would normally burn after staying 10 minutes under the sun, using an SPF 15 sunscreen would allow you stay out under the sun for about 150 minutes (a factor of 15 times longer) without burning your skin.
However, it does not mean that an SPF 15 sunscreen is half as effective as an SPF 30. The difference in the SPF numbers also takes into account UVB filtering capabilities.
SPF 15 can filter about 93% of UVB rays, SPF 30 about 97%, SPF 50 about 98%, and so on. The type you choose depends on your skin tone, how sensitive your skin is to the heat, and how easily you get color on your skin.

Dermplus Sunscreen comes in different varieties to suit your needs. Whether you want an everyday sunscreen for indoor use, or one that will protect you when doing extreme outdoor activities, there's a product that's right for you.

The Right Amount
For the sunscreen to work as advertised, you have to apply a liberal amount on all exposed areas of the skin, and re-apply it every after two hours or when you feel it has worn off.

This summer, enjoy the best sunventures ensuring you get the most out of your sunscreen lotion.
